• Baseline surveying opportunities

Surveying Opportunities:

• Summer Orientation: Asking first-year students to take a brief survey about their previous writing experience, feelings toward writing, and whether or not they’d be interested in continuing with this project

  • Still working out decisions about confidentiality

  • Summer O is typically the first three/four weeks of June, so this information would give us a better understanding of how much recruiting needs to be done at the beginning of the semester

• Video pitch: Presenting the study digitally for both social media and in-person platforms; will help reach a bigger audience beyond my potential in-person presentations
