Academically, I enjoy exploring rhetorical strategies and writing argumentative papers. Below are two examples of my work in this style, including an essay that won the “Analysis” section of the Loyola Writing Department’s 2020 Rhetoric Contest.
Robin Steinberg and the Rhetoric of Bail Reform: this essay, winner of the Analysis portion of the 2020 Loyola Rhetoric Contest, dissects and analyzes public defender Robin Steinberg’s TEDTalk and argument for bail reform.
For a multimodal, final assignment in a rhetoric course, I created an Instagram advocacy page arguing for reform of the cash bail system.
